Thank you all so much for keeping with me and watching me. I haven't been too active over the month. There's been a lot going on for me including school and friends. I take a nap almost every day after school. I usually don't get my Pre-Cal. homework done and I try to get my Chemistry and Painting & Drawing homework done during Driver's Ed while I'm waiting to drive. However, my dad just won an auction on Ebay for a new lens for the camera!

I've been stuck with the crap lenses they gave us along with the camera, but now we're going to have a nice Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G lens. This lens should give me better quality in my images in the dark and with movement and it should give me a much cooler effect called bokeh which is when an object is in focus and the background is blurry. Bokeh is an effect I've been wanting to get in my own photos, but the lenses we have won't let me do that unless I'm super close up to that object (like in Aloha and The Climb.) So, hopefully it'll come in before Halloween.

There's a lot going on around here now that it's Pumpkin Time. The Fair is starting on Thursday this week (a super huge thing in the tri-county area here), Halloween is Saturday and I plan on going trick-or-treating at my church with my best friend and her boyfriend and maybe some more friends, and homecoming is next week. My group (my best friend, her boyfriend, a super old friend of mine who had a super crush on me this summer, and a couple that I just started hanging out with this summer) is going to the Fair this Friday!!! It's going to be soo fun!!! It's the best thing that ever happens around here. Also, my mom might be taking me downtown in the city on Halloween to shop even though the clothes there don't get under $19. After that is trick-or-treating at the church and maybe around town. Then, there's homecoming.
Hopefully it'll stay warm like it has been through this week and next. I hate standing in those lines in the cold while those rides rush buy blowing wind at me, making it even colder. I'm definitely going to the homecoming game and I am going to have to go to the Fair again to see my art in one of the exhibits. I did a Sharpie drawing of a violin which turned out amazing. Hopefully I can get it back and get it on here or at least feature it in a photo. I still have to come up with a name, though!

So, I really hope I get to get to take pictures during some of these events, but I might be too busy having fun. I have all the time in the world to work on my photography, but less than a day for each of these events. I'll try to be more active afterwords, but I still have school to take on and kick ass at.
